Some English teachers work with business people and government officials to help develop their English skills.

Many Thai and international companies, as well as Thai government departments organize English training for their staff and managers. Usually language schools and universities provide the program and instructors for these courses. Instructors would be expected have recognized ESL qualifications and experience to be considered for these courses. Instructors with relevant professional experience may also have an advantage due to their ability to add value to the training.

There are many language schools and training companies that offer these programs. Usually the work is part-time with the bulk of training being in the evenings and early mornings. Instructors are paid by the hour and can expect rates of 500-1,000THB. This type of work is seasonal with the busiest time being from May to October.
